Watson Realty Corp. is pleased to announce their newest appointed managing broker for their Ocala office as David Ferro.
As the current managing broker and vice president of Watson Realty Corp.’s Gainesville office, Ferro has extensive experience in hiring, training and supporting a vast team of professional agents. He will be taking over this new role in Ocala in addition to continuing to serve as managing broker and vice president of the Gainesville office.
“I’m most excited about building new relationships in a new market,” said Ferro.
Ferro has been a practicing REALTOR® since 2004, specializing in commercial and investment real estate. He moved to Gainesville in 1987 to attend the University of Florida and is a triple Gator with a bachelor’s and two master’s degrees. He and his wife, both Watson REALTORS®, are investors and have experience developing and managing commercial real estate. Ferro has previously been named REALTOR® of the Year, President of the Gainesville Alachua County Association of REALTORS®, and District Vice President of Florida REALTORS®. In February 2020, he won Watson’s Highest Number of Closed Transactions, Highest Closed Volume of New Recruits, Office with Most Property Management Referrals, and was named Broker of the Year.
“My main duties with this role will be to recruit, recruit, recruit,” said Ferro, “in addition to increasing our market share and raising and maintaining the performance standards of our Ocala office.”
Along with these plans, Ferro also intends to identify the key influencers in the market within the first two weeks and begin to build some lasting friendships.
