Jeffrey M. Fagan, regional vice president, Watson Realty Corp. in Longwood, is the District 12 vice president of Florida REALTORS®, the state’s largest professional association. He will serve his fellow professionals in District 12, which encompasses Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties.
“With more than 1,500 people expected to move to the Orlando area every week for the next 11 years, the demand for residential and commercial real estate will continue to be strong in 2020,” said Fagan, who is active in residential and commercial brokerage and oversees Watson Realty’s operation in Central and South Florida. “Housing demand remains strong and vacancy rates remain low. With more than 75 million people visiting our area this year, we expect continued growth in the market.”
Fagan is a member of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA) and served as 2019 president. “Like other booming metropolitan areas, our district is experiencing growing pains related to affordable housing, traffic and infrastructure, and we need to work closely with all stakeholders to find solutions.” An avid fisherman, Fagan supports the work of the Coastal Conservation Association, which is committed to conserving and protecting marine resources.
As district vice president for the state association, Fagan will focus on providing Florida REALTORS® with professional information, education and advocacy programs to help them deliver the highest level of service to their clients and communities.
“Our members know the importance of strong communities,” Fagan said. “Whether volunteering with a local charity, advocating for property rights, supporting economic development initiatives, or simply helping a first-time buyer find the perfect home, REALTORS® work every day to make Florida an even greater place to live.”
